Venture Builder

A fast and effective way to develop new income streams

Government funding cuts and the recent economic environment have changed the financial landscape for UK charities and social enterprises, leaving many of them with significant income shortfalls. The need to develop new, sustainable revenue streams and to enhance existing ones is pressing but charities and social enterprises can often avoid doing so for a number of reasons:

  • Fear of change
  • Organisational inertia
  • Lack of knowledge/confidence
  • Weak management
  • Budgetary constraints

Additionally, many consultancy engagements in support of revenue diversification are long, complex and expensive, making them a serious undertaking for charities and social enterprises. Aperio, with extensive and successful experience enhancing revenue streams, understands your organisation’s need to explore new revenues without spending too many of your existing ones. That’s why we’ve developed Venture Builder.

Aperio Venture Builder

  • Build its skills, knowledge and assets into earned revenues
  • Gain the confidence and knowledge it needs to bring new venture ideas to life

How long does it take?

The process typically takes 4-6 weeks, although this depends on your organisation. We will design the programme based upon your resources and availability. The process is highly iterative and Aperio will ensure that the emphasis is on maintaining momentum and keeping the venture in a constant ‘beta development’ state.
